The Shield Design

Introduced upon the school’s founding in 1965 by its first principal, Mr. Cyril Jensen, the original white and brown crest was crafted in the traditional shape of a shield.
Dual-Stream Heritage: The school name and motto were proudly displayed in both English and Chinese, reflecting the school’s early identity as an integrated dual-stream institution.
The Core Motto: The shield championed the school’s timeless desire for students to continually self-improve, enrich their minds, and put their skills to good practice to be useful citizens.
The Living Flame: At its center, a prominent burning torch glowed with three distinct flames, symbolizing the enduring, inspiring nature of the school's three foundational ideals: Pursuit, Knowledge, and Service.
