The Golden Tree Design (Chong Boon Secondary School)

Established in 1994, Chong Boon Secondary School’s original crest was introduced by founding Principal Mrs. Cecilia Lee. Set against a rich brown background, it featured a golden flaming tree representing success, growth, and independent thought.
Branches of Excellence: The tree’s soaring branches symbolized the four holistic domains the school aimed to excel in: academic, moral, social, and physical development.
Anchored Roots: The deep roots served as a reminder for students to remain anchored in compassion, to share and care, and to stay courageous and tenacious in upholding integrity amidst change.
Living the Values: The primary school values—Compassion, Benevolence, and Steadfastness—cleverly formed the acronym CBS, mirroring the school's name and identity.
