The Symbolic meaning of our logo

The symmetry of the logo reflects the balance of a holistic education for all. Its three orange segments evoke blooming petals and emerging seeds, representing the school’s desire to nurture Competent Learners, Confident Leaders, and Caring Innovators. Bursting with energy, these seeds symbolize optimism, an open mind, and a readiness to embrace new experiences—vibrantly echoing the school motto: Pursuit, Knowledge, and Service.
At the center, a strong green "Y" proudly stands for Yio Chu Kang Secondary School, while shaping a tree trunk with branches reaching skyward in an open embrace of learning and service. Uniting these elements is the outer circle—a seamless ring symbolizing the collaborative synergy, inclusivity, and shared spirit of our staff, students, and community.
