National Day Celebrations 2026

This video captures the vibrant celebrations of Singapore’s National Day at Yio Chu Kang Secondary School under the theme "Majulah Singapura: Go Beyond!".

The commemorative event opens with a formal parade in the school hall featuring the Uniformed Groups, the marching-in and ceremonial raising of the National Flag, and the school concert band accompanying the assembly.

The celebrations continue with interactive classroom lessons on the Singapore story, humorous food security skits performed by staff, and class photo competitions. The event culminates in a spirited mass "Dance of the Nation" led on stage alongside visiting preschool children, uniting students and staff across the hall and gallery in patriotic cheer and flag-waving.
