This short festive film follows two friends, Masha and Howard, navigating a unique day when Chinese New Year coincides with Ramadan. It begins by contrasting their morning routines: Masha waking up early before dawn for her pre-fasting meal, while Howard prepares for festive home visits. Masha joins Howard’s family for Chinese New Year, sharing lighthearted moments with his relatives, including humorous misunderstandings about fasting with his grandmother, playing games, and participating in family karaoke. As evening arrives, they come together to break fast, highlighting the themes of mutual respect, cultural understanding, and the joy of cross-cultural friendship.
