Education and Career Guidance (ECG) supports the Future-readiness goal of CCE 2021 by helping students develop a sense of purpose, cultivate the dispositions of adaptability and lifelong learning, and make informed decisions about their education and career pathways.
ECG Curriculum Lessons: Discovering Passion and Purpose
The ECG curriculum lessons help students discover their interests, strengths, values, passions and aspirations, and develop a sense of purpose in life. Through structured learning and reflection, students gain greater self-awareness and learn how their personal attributes and aspirations can shape their education and career choices.
ECG Student Development Experiences: Exploring and Applying
Student Development Experiences provide students with authentic opportunities to explore, experience and apply their ECG learning beyond the classroom. Through exposure to different educational pathways, careers, industries, workplaces and interactions with practitioners, students broaden their perspectives and make connections between their interests, strengths and possible future pathways.
